Our big recycling win

We are so proud to share that our Earth Day recycling event was a huge success. Together with our friends at the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), we collected 1,078 pounds of electronics. That is over half a ton of old gadgets kept out of the trash and given a second life!

Helping people and the planet

This event was hosted at Pinkies Thrift, a social enterprise of Prescott Group. Being a social enterprise means our goal as a business is to make a positive impact to our community, which is why the chance to partner with the Electronic Recycling Association was an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for Earth Day 2026. Our team members work hard at Pinkies to learn new skills, gain job experience, and connect with our community. By recycling these electronics, we are not just helping the environment; we are also showing that everyone has a valuable role to play in building a better, greener future.

Helping people and the planet

When we work together, we make our community stronger and more inclusive. Electronics that were sitting in cupboards or basements are now being put to good use instead of ending up in a landfill.

  • Sustainability: We helped save our local environment by recycling heavy electronics.
  • Inclusion: Our team at Pinkies Thrift led the way, proving that everyone can contribute to important community goals.
  • Opportunity: This event helped us share the important work we do at the Prescott Group with more people in our city.
