How does intent to register work?
- Complete the form below to share your interest in registering for Club Inclusion’s daytime activities. If you’d prefer, email us for a PDF version.
- Once registration closes in late June (or when spaces are full), our team will work to balance everyone’s needs.
- We do our best to give as many people as many activities as possible, but we cannot guarantee that you will get all the activities you ask for. You have a greater chance of getting more options if you are flexible about when you can attend by choosing the “Lucky Dip” option in the form below.
- You’ll receive a direct communication with further information after the interest period closes.
Before you begin, we suggest reviewing our 1:1 Support Policy and if needed the daytime activities for 2026 – 2027.

2026 Daytime activities schedule
Our daytime activities take place on weekdays from September 2026 through June 2027. We are very excited to announce that our activities this year will take place at Club Dartmouth, Club Halifax and Progress Place, creating more opportunities for our community to grow and build lifelong skills together.
Youth Projects
These activities are suitable for people aged 16-25, and use a recreation model to teach and reinforce skills. Activities are suitable for all abilities and is person-directed. If you are older than 25 but feel that this would suit you, please still apply! Spaces will be given to those older as available.
Leaders in training (LIT)
When:
Mondays from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Where:
Progress Place and in the community
Costs:
$30 per day
Leader In Training (LIT) is an opportunity for people with disabilities to learn and develop leadership skills. You’ll be connected to fair wage employment opportunities, volunteering, and program development.
LIT is divided into three terms:
- Community volunteer placement opportunities
- Programming and leadership facilitation for peers
- Employment within our social enterprises
This project runs primarily from our Progress Place location and in the wider community. Weekly work to be done outside of LIT is a regular component of this initiative.
Job Links
When:
Fridays from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Where:
Progress Place and in the community
Costs:
$20 per session
Job Links provides job seekers with the opportunity to take part in a shorter, more intensive work readiness and skill development initiative that runs on Friday mornings at Progress Place through a four month course.
Activities include resume building, interviewing skills, job search, and other employment readiness skills.
Job Links is offered twice throughout the year (September to January and February to June).
Graduate to Goodlife
When:
Wednesdays from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Where:
Progress Place and in the community
Costs:
$50 per day (includes tickets and memberships)
Graduate to Goodlife is a new initiative for young adults and school leavers who are preparing to leave high school, or have recently graduated – taking place on Wednesdays. This initiative creates learning opportunities that support your unique goals, including metro transit training, employment and volunteering skill development, life skills, and community exploration.
Graduate to Goodlife primarily takes place in the wider community and will use Progress Place as a meeting point.
Adventure Tuesdays
When:
Tuesdays from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Where:
Club Dartmouth and in the community
Costs:
$30 per day
Adventure Tuesdays takes place on Tuesdays through our Club Dartmouth location as well as throughout the wider community. This initiative provides metro transit training as the primary method of exploring the excitement and opportunities our city has to offer.
Full life Fridays
When:
Fridays from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Where:
Club Halifax and in the community
Costs:
$30 per day
Full Life Fridays primarily takes place at our Club Inclusion Halifax location, with opportunities for wider community exploration. This service provides a wide variety or recreational pursuits and life skill building endeavours. Activities include (but are not limited to) event planning, music therapy, dance, art and culture activities, sports, and full life fun!
Recreation, Volunteering, and Business
Recreation and Business is suitable for people ages 16 and older. The focus is on person-directed activities, including recreation, team building, trying new things, learning new skills, relaxation, wellness, and friendship, working together on creative business projects, experiencing volunteering, and wellness.
Brunch Club
When:
Mondays from 9:00 am – 12:0 pm

Costs:
$20 per session
Brunch Club offers cooking and life skills opportunities for participants, where we learn about healthy
eating, meal planning, as well as making and eating brunch together.
Music and Movement
When:
Tuesdays from 2:00 – 3:00 pm

Club Halifax
Costs:
$20 per session
Music and Movement provides a weekly gathering where everyone can come together to engage in fun with friends on Tuesdays at Club Halifax. Fun, inclusive, and accessible music therapy and inclusive dance sessions are offered to people of all ages and abilities. Music therapy is provided through music therapists of the Maritime Conservatory and with thanks to our sponsors, Davsco Excavating Limited.
Recreation, volunteering and business

Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm

Costs:
$30 per day
Recreation, volunteering, and business supports people to meet their own goals in wellness, community engagement, physical activity, earning income, communication and skills development. There is a focus on building friendships and a good quality of life. Adults will explore creative business
ventures and take part in employment experience related activities. This year, we will also be exploring volunteering with Prescott’s Online Auction.
