Prescott provides over 40 programs and services in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Here’s just a taste of some of the options that you might like to choose:
Drop-in Activities
There is always something fun happening at Club Inclusion!
Supported by the United Way, Club Inclusion has activities taking place every day of the week, making drop-in activities a fantastic way to try new things, make friends and be independent.
Club activities take place at both our Halifax and Dartmouth locations.
Senior Activities
At Prescott, we believe that building community has no age limit. Our seniors’ activities help older adults stay in their homes longer by fostering strong social connections and providing practical supports.
In addition to social activities, we can also assist with support through our Home Services program.
Daytime Activities
We take a person-directed approach, meaning you choose your own goals and, with support, create a schedule that fits your interests and needs.
Prescott’s daytime activities focus on 6 key areas providing a range of options in a welcoming and supportive space to grow and foster connections.
Supported Employment
Getting your first job is a big milestone. It’s a chance to meet new people, earn your own money, build confidence, and feel proud of what you can do.
We believe everyone deserves that opportunity. We support people with disabilities to find meaningful work—whether it’s in one of our social enterprises or in community workplaces across Halifax.
