Employment Services
Our leadership programs, Saturday Jobs for youth, job coaching and JobLinks clubs, help people with disabilities gain the skills they need to prepare for work and keep their jobs for longer.
We can help with on the job training, on-going support and connections to the workplace.
Once you’ve secured that dream position, we can help you problem solve, move through your career and connect with peer support along the way.

Let’s work together
Getting your first job is a big milestone. It’s a chance to meet new people, earn your own money, build confidence, and feel proud of what you can do.
At Prescott, we believe everyone deserves that opportunity. We support over 100 people with disabilities to find meaningful work—whether it’s in one of our social enterprises like North End Baking Co. & Café, Pinkie’s Thrift, Home Services, or Prescott Mailing Services, or in community workplaces across Halifax like Scotiabank Centre, 2 Crows Brewing, Stantec, McInnis Cooper, and many more.
With the help of our friendly job coaches, participants gain skills, independence, and a stronger connection to their community.
In our own words: Why work matters
A job is more than just a paycheque — it’s a chance to be seen, to belong, and to grow.
Hear from some of the incredible employees in our community about what having a job means to them, how it’s changed their lives, and the pride they feel in showing up, contributing, and being part of something bigger.
