Community Meet Up: Walking in the Pride Parade!

Join us to celebrate pride, create community, and Build Belonging! We will be taking part in this year’s Halifax Pride Parade, the city’s largest community event celebrating the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
The Parade Route is a 2.5km walk through downtown Halifax – with a section down Spring Garden Rd, just steps away from Progress Place!
This is a great chance to be visible and involved in one of the biggest community events in our neighbourhood and a wonderful opportunity to show support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, celebrate pride, and build connections.
Helpful Info
- Meet-up location:
- Drop-off and pcik-up will be downtown near the parade route. Details for where the group is meeting will be sent when registration is confirmed.
- What to wear:
- Dress in rainbow, bright colours, or anything Pride-themed! The parade happens rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
