Active Lives

Our Active Lives program is all about movement that fits you. Being active isn’t just exercise—it’s about having fun, improving mental health, and staying strong and independent for longer. At Prescott, our inclusive programs make it easy for people of all abilities to stay moving, engaged and energized.

Active Lives activities

Here are just some of the activities you can choose from:

Sports and games

Play boccia, dodgeball, soccer, and more

Swimming and gym visits

Enjoy swimming or workouts at the gym to keep fit.

Dance and yoga

Move your body with dance or yoga for fun and flexibility. 

Drum fit and gentle movement

Try low-impact exercises that are easy on your body.

Meditation, relaxation and massage

Learn ways to relax, reduce stress, and feel calm.

Therapy dogs and walking groups

Walk outside with friendly dogs and meet new people.

Community activities

Join activities at venues around the City including Halifax Dance and YMCA Halifax.
