Description

Join our Community Create & Celebrate workshops! These free, fun sessions offer seniors (55+) opportunities to socialize, try new activities, and enjoy wellness and creative programs.

Workshops are open to all seniors, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and are designed based on participant feedback.

Our workshops are all supported or lead by individuals with disabilities. We’ll have guests artists, crafts people and professionals who will share their skills and knowledge with us all.

Themes and activities include:

  • Yoga & Zumba: Gentle movement for health and relaxation. 
  • Craft Sessions & Paint Nights: Explore your creative side with hands-on projects. 
  • Flower Arranging: Learn how to make beautiful bouquets. 
  • Afternoon Tea & High Tea Events: Socialize with friends over tea and treats. 
  • Special Events: Larger gatherings like comedy shows and seasonal celebrations. 

Special notes and info

Who it’s for:

  • Seniors aged 55+, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 
  • Priority is given to low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities.
